why csv file size is 0 kb or contents missing after be copied  by "post processes"

Hi David,

The script you posted appears to just be the default script which ships with Quant. Though its obvious from your screenshots that you edited this file to write to your S drive - I have not reviewed your edits.

I'd recommend switching it back to the C:\temp\ folder to test this problem.

Is there any issue with copying the CSV file to your C:\temp\ directory (instead of the S drive)?

And can you include a screenshot of your SLIM post-process? Mine looks like this - and it works to the C:\Temp\ directory without issue:

I tried your script (even mounting a fake S: drive) and it worked perfectly with my Quant B.07.01 SP2 (build 7.1.524.2)

Both the source .csv and destination .csv were fully intact and identical.

Try removing your Excel template from the report list temporarily (leaving only the CSV report) for testing. Keep it copying to the C:/temp/ location for now.

Are you running with full administrative privileges? Or are you a domain user with limited permissions?

Is the log file being written to the Quant report output location?

but problem is still.

Two thoughts:

1.) I do see that you uploaded a copy of the .csv you're generating - is this file from your C:\temp\ directory or from your D:\MassHunter\Data\2018\201803\20180310\QuantReports\chem-019-br-036415-metaldehyde-C180310-1 directory?

If its from the D drive - can you upload the copy of the file that gets created on the C:\temp\ directory?

2.) I see you're running Quant B.07.01 SP1 - can you install SP2 and give it a try? This is the only version I tested.

Ok - David, one last suggestion.

I've created a new LIMs generating Python code component.

Install instructions:

1.) Download this .py file here.

2.) In Windows Explorer, navigate to your D:\MassHunter\Report Templates\Quant\PDF-Reporting\Codes directory.

3.) Rename the existing LIMsIntegration_gen.py to LIMsIntegration_gen.py.orig.

4.) Copy the new downloaded .py code from step 1 into the Codes directory.

5.) Try again.

Let me know if that works.
